DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
You’ve done the research. You still need to figure out how it all fits together.
Where should you stay? Which places make sense on the same day? How far apart is everything? What needs to be booked ahead? And is the Banff & Jasper itinerary you’ve put together realistic?
“We plan trips for a living, and this has been the hardest trip to plan. This is so confusing. You need reservations for everything.”
Traveller during a private planning consultation
“Logistically, I don’t know where things are located, how far apart they are, what’s reasonable to do in a day.”
Traveller during a private planning consultation
You don’t necessarily need more ideas. You need a way to decide what fits your trip, how to organize your time and what to book ahead.

WHY THE PLANNING HUB IS DIFFERENT
More than places saved on a map.
Finding things to do in Banff is easy. Deciding what makes sense for your dates, your travel style and the time you have is harder. The Banff & Jasper Planning Hub is designed to help you make those decisions, not simply give you more ideas.
01
Advice from someone who lives here
I live in Canmore, just outside Banff, and have helped people through more than 200 private trip-planning consultations. I know the questions travellers ask as they turn a wish list into a real Banff itinerary.
02
Help with the decisions, not only the destinations
Where should you stay? What can you realistically see in a day? Start with the complete guide, compare itineraries and choose what works for your trip.
03
Extra guidance for Lake Louise and Moraine Lake
Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are highlights of Banff, but getting there takes planning. Inside the Hub, you’ll find transportation resources and recorded shuttle workshops to help you understand your options and reservations. I’ll also share updated guidance for the 2027 season as information becomes available.
04
Real answers in live sessions
Bring your questions to a monthly planning Q&A from October through June, or submit them in advance. Watch replays throughout the year when you cannot attend live.
Join whenever you need help. With one purchase, you can return to the Hub whenever you plan another trip.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Frequently asked questions
Is this useful if I have already booked my hotels or started planning?
Yes. The Hub can help at any point. Check whether your daily plans are realistic, compare activities, sort out shuttles and transportation, and ask questions before you go.
Is $49.99 a one-time purchase? What does lifetime access mean?
Yes. Full Access is $49.99 USD once, with lifetime access to the Hub. There is no recurring membership fee. Live Q&A sessions run on the published seasonal schedule, not every month of the year.
Are live Q&A sessions included?
Yes. Live trip-planning Q&A is scheduled once per month from October through June. You can submit questions in advance, and recordings are available in the Hub to watch when it suits you.
What about Lake Louise and Moraine Lake shuttle planning?
The Hub includes transportation resources and recorded workshops explaining Lake Louise and Moraine Lake shuttle options, reservations and logistics. Updated information for the 2027 season will be added as reservation details are confirmed.
Can I use the Hub if I am visiting in July, August or September?
Absolutely. The guide, itineraries, resources and recordings remain available year-round. The live Q&A schedule currently runs October through June, so you can also attend before a summer trip.
Do I have to follow one itinerary exactly?
No. The itineraries are starting points. Mix elements from different plans, adapt activities to your interests or use the guide and maps to create a trip from scratch.
Does it work for families or people who are not big hikers?
Yes. You can choose activities based on your own travel style and the information in the guide. The Hub includes sightseeing-focused plans as well as hiking, winter and car-free options.
Can I use it on my phone and print the itineraries?
Yes. The itineraries have mobile-friendly versions and printable copies, so you can use them during the trip or make notes on paper.
How do I get access after purchasing?
You’ll receive an email with instructions for setting up your password and signing in to the Planning Hub.
Does Full Access include a private travel consultation?
No. The live Q&A sessions are group sessions, not a private trip review. If you want detailed, one-on-one recommendations for your exact dates and plans, a private Banff Travel Consultation is a separate service.
