The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel is one of the most iconic places to stay in Banff National Park, and for good reason. This National Historic Site of Canada has the feel of a grand mountain castle, with beautiful Rocky Mountain views and a location that makes it easy to enjoy the best of Banff. But if you’re hoping to find Banff Springs Hotel deals, it helps to know where to look before you book.
As Canmore locals, we’ve spent a lot of time exploring Banff, comparing hotels, and helping travellers plan trips that make sense for their budget. The Banff Springs is a bucket-list hotel for many visitors, but it is also one of the most expensive hotels in Banff. A stay here can be well worth it, especially for a special occasion, but that doesn’t mean you should pay more than you need to.
The challenge is that true Banff Springs deals can be hard to find, especially during peak travel times. The good news is that there are still several ways to save, from Fairmont’s own special offers to Alberta resident rates, loyalty perks, ski-and-stay packages, credit card benefits and other Banff travel deals that may help reduce the overall cost of your trip.
Before you book your stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, it’s worth taking a few minutes to compare your options. Below, I’ll walk you through the best places to look for Banff Springs Hotel deals, what to watch for, and a few practical tips to help you decide which offer is actually the best value for your trip.

How to Find Banff Springs Hotel Deals
1. Check the Official Fairmont Banff Springs Offers
The Banff Springs Hotel is one of the most expensive hotels in Banff National Park. Thankfully, Fairmont usually has a selection of Banff Springs Hotel deals that you should browse before booking.
So, the first place you should look for Banff Springs Hotel deals is the official offers from Fairmont. Click the link below to see all of the current Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel specials. The Banff Springs Hotel deals and packages found here are continually updated, change with the seasons and will appeal to a wide variety of visitors.

Look for Alberta Resident, Seniors and CAA/AAA Rates
Fairmont has a rotating selection of Banff Springs Hotel deals on offer, so I recommend checking the official offers page before booking
Some Banff Springs Hotel deals appear regularly, such as the Alberta residents rate, seniors discount and CAA/AAA members discount, while others come and go. We recently saved over $150/night at the Banff Springs using the Alberta residents rate!
Fairmont often offers seasonal deals at the Banff Springs Hotel. For example, you can often find excellent deals for visiting Banff in the summer, or ski packages for those who are visiting Banff in winter.
Christmas is our favourite time of year to visit the Banff Springs Hotel. If you are planning a visit to Banff at Christmas, keep an eye out for their Christmas at the Castle promotion.

Finally, Fairmont typically offers Banff Springs Hotel deals focused on the excellent amenities at the hotel. For example, you may find golf packages that combine a hotel stay with a round at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course.
Alternatively, if you’d like to treat yourself to a little pampering, you can often find Wellness Retreat packages, which include spa treatments.
As you can see, at any given time Fairmont Hotels has an excellent, seasonally adjusted selection of Banff Springs Hotel deals for you to choose from. Before you book, we highly recommend checking the latest offers to see what deals are available for your travel dates!

Speaking of package deals for the Banff Springs Hotel, you can often save money on your stay by booking a ski-and-stay package with SkiBig3.

If you are visiting Banff in ski season, check SkiBig3’s vacation packages for Fairmont Banff Springs. They often run “Save at Fairmont Resorts” sales where you get a percentage off multi-night stays plus discounted tri-area lift tickets for Norquay, Sunshine, and Lake Louise.
These promos change yearly, and they seem to end halfway through the season, so I always recommend checking SkiBig3’s current offers before you book.

If you book the Banff Springs through American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts with an eligible Amex Platinum card, you may receive perks such as daily breakfast for two, a property credit, a potential room upgrade and late checkout. The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel is part of the program, and bookings made through Visa Luxury Hotel Collection benefits generally include daily breakfast for two, room upgrade when available, a food or beverage credit, and late checkout when available.
